Principle Duties and Responsibilities
1. Follows a checklist of inspection procedures.
2. Test drives vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they run smoothly.
3. Reads and interprets diagnostics test results from diagnostic equipment multimeter measurements and vender specific software programs on laptop.
4. Raises trucks and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
5. Performs routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and parts.
6. Adjusts and aligns wheels, tightens bolts and screws and attaches system components.
7. Maintains tires and brakes to comply with CSA standards.
8. Repairs or replaces malfunctioning components, parts and other mechanical or electrical equipment.
Job Specifications
1. Must provide own tools.
2. CDL A license preferred.
3. Extensive inspection experience is required.
4. Strong preventative maintenance skills are required.
5. Refer experience preferred.
Working Conditions
1. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
2. Will involve some working outdoors from a service truck at our plant location.
3. Exposure to dampness and humidity, toxic chemicals, exhaust fumes, gasoline, and diesel fuel.

- $18.37 to $22.50 hours, based on skills and experience.
- 15-20 hours week.
- Special Care Unit (Alzheimer’s/Dementia).
- Very stable leadership and low turnover.
Music Therapist Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Music Therapist Board Certification.
- At least 3 months’ experience in a Long-Term Care facility.
Music Therapist Job Summary
- Organize daily/weekly music therapy sessions.
- Work with individual/group plans to coordinate and implement physical, mental, social, psychosocial and interest.
- Design/implement therapeutic music group programs and 1:1 sessions.
- Collaborate with pastoral care and clinical therapeutic disciplines.

- As required, assist in transporting or moving residents.
- Assist in maintaining participant records.

We are seeking to hire a Registered Dietitian.
- $33 to $43 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Full-time; 40 hours per week.
Registered Dietitian Qualifications:
- Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 2 years Clinical Nutrition experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care.
- Excellent client services, organization and communication skills are essential.
Registered Dietitian Job Summary:
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of residents in accordance with policy and regulations.
- Assess/Monitor the residents’ nutritional status and provides recommendations to clinical/medical staff.
- Educate residents, families and staff on nutritional concepts and diet modification.
- Work with other members of the team to ensure that modified texture or therapeutic diets are in compliance with the resident’s medical condition.
- Orient newly hired staff; developing policies and procedures; complete employee performance evaluations; in-service education, etc.
- Practice management by rounding.
- Participate in care conferences and the communication of nutritional updates to residents and representatives as needed.
- Complete resident nutritional assessments.

Dietary Aide
Come join us at St. Cabrini Nursing Home! We are a 304-bed, Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility founded in 1974 in continuation of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s legacy of serving those in need through works of healing, teaching, caring and giving.
We are looking to fill the position of Dietary Aide - Part-Time. This is a 1199 Union position.
- $24.29 per hour.
- 4pm to 7:00pm; Monday - Friday plus Every Weekend.
Dietary Aide Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous food service experience not necessary. Will train.
- Must be able to interact with elderly residents and their families.
- Must have strong communication skills and ability to speak, write and read English.
- Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
Dietary Aide Job Summary:
- Prepare dining rooms for meal times.
- Interact with the Residents, engaging and providing quality customer service.
- Fill dietary orders requested by the Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Clean the dining area after meals, restocking supplies as needed.
