What You Need to Know:

This RN Case Manager is responsible for managing patients' care plans from admission through discharge and for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. The position combines direct and indirect patient care activities and directs staff nurses, LPNs, and CHHAs in delivering the individual patient’s plan of care, as well as identifying interdisciplinary needs and coordinating allied health clinicians.

 

RN Case Manager Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation
  • A minimum of one year of experience as an RN
  • Current CPR Certification required

 

RN Case Manager Responsibilities:  

  • Assessment of the status of nursing needs of assigned patients and overall management of the patient’s care plan
  • Complete initial patient assessment upon admission, including appropriate patient history
  • Selects appropriate nursing diagnosis
  • Assesses all medicines to identify possible ineffective drug therapy or adverse reactions, significant side effects, drug allergies, and contraindicated medications
  • Establishes realistic, measurable, observable goals consistent with the patient’s diagnosis
  • Informs the physician of the results of the assessment and recommended clinical interventions
  • Implements appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the patient's diagnosis and established goals and within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act
  • Re-evaluates patients' nursing and other clinical needs as required
  • Documents and submits the assessment, progress, and discharge notes and other required paperwork in a timely fashion as required by the agency
  • Informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient's condition and needs

Under the supervision of an RN, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides direct patient care. This position provides direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

  • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
  • Currently Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of agency operation
  • One year of LVN/LPN work experience
  • Ability to provide nursing visits according to the treatment as prescribed by the physician and provide and maintain paperwork to maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role
  • Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations

 

Responsibilities:  

As a LVN/LPN, you will:

  • Performs technical nursing functions and direct patient care consistent with the established plan of care and under the supervision of an RN.
  • Promotes and maintain optimal client care under the supervision of an RN.
  • Maintains a safe patient environment.
  • Identifies and communicates significant abnormalities in patients data to case manager and other appropriate home health team members.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by law. Assesses all medicines a client may be taking to identify possible ineffective drug therapy or adverse reactions, significant side effects, drug allergies, contraindicated medications and reports any problems to the physician.
  • Re-evaluates client’s nursing needs and reports findings to Case Manager.
  • Counsels and instructs the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
  • Prepares clinical and progress notes.
  • Submits all documentation in a timely manner in accordance with agency policy.
  • Documentation on patients chart correlates with nursing care plan.
  • Communicates frequently and works closely with other home care team members.
  • Assists in coordinating services provided to client

We are seeking a dynamic and community-oriented Membership Sales Manager to generate leads and sales for our AirMedCare Network membership via local B2C and B2B channels. Through local community engagement, you will build a robust pipeline of business to support the territory's budgets while also contributing to your team's total budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in healthcare membership or insurance services, and a passion for community outreach.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships across Northern Nevada's communities, connecting with local businesses, agricultural operations, healthcare providers, first responders, and community leaders. Responsibilities:

  • Drive Local Impact: The Sales Manager will spend approximately 90% of your time in the field, engaging with local businesses (70% B2B focus) and individual consumers (30% B2C focus) to promote AMCN membership programs.
  • Develop Relationships: Identify and cultivate new leads through cold calling, referrals, community events, local chambers of commerce, and networking opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Sales Process Management: The Sales Manager will navigate the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing, ensuring a consultative approach that addresses the unique needs of each prospect.
  • Champion with Purpose: Participate in community events, local business functions, and establish partnerships with community organizations to enhance brand visibility and trust.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
  • Sales Expertise: 3 years previous B2C or B2B solutions field sales experience including cold calling and prospecting, preferred. Comfort with frequent travel is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of emergency medical transport, preferred.

Shifts Available:

6pm- 5am Sunday-Wednesday $16.50

Starting Pay: $15.5 per hour

Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift: 

  • Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas  
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash  
  • Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times  
  • Clean totes and other items 
  • Some deep cleaning, as needed  
  • Follow all safety and quality standards  
  • Other basic janitorial duties as assigned  

Requirements for our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial Positions: 

  • Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds 
  • Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift   
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours  
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) 
  • KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
