POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) will work with a dedicated panel of geriatric patients. All patients are located in facilities or private homes.
Daily volume varies based upon types of appointments scheduled, patient needs, and number of locations being visited. The PMHNP will have a scheduling team member who creates an efficient schedule for each work day.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- psychiatric wellness assessments and care
- prescribing age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation
- prescribing pharmacologic treatments
- diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic illnesses
- conducting examinations and interpreting medical history
- ordering and performing diagnostic tests and/or procedures, when appropriate
- working with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
The practice uses a mobile-based EHR with AI functionality to reduce administrative time.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completes preoperative patient assessments and prepares and maintains necessary tools and resources for procedures. The Neuropsychiatry & TMS Group (TNP) is seeking a compassionate and clinically driven Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient psychiatry practice in Tampa, Florida. This position provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adult patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions.

• Clinical background of wound care; including but not limited to chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds

• Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers.

• Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP

• Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc.

• Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices

• Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified

• Experience working in a long-term care setting.
