Job Summary

This position is both administrative and operational and has primary responsibility for allocating orders, releasing work to warehouse floor, balancing workflow, and ensuring inbound and outbound shipment times are within acceptable levels to meet customer needs. This role is also responsible for ensuring all shipments are closed, dispatched, and all paperwork is processed correctly. In this role you will also be communicating with internal customers, transportation, and external customers regarding shipment statuses.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assigns and monitors the work including staging, wave times and pick assignments for various teammates.
  • Batches all incoming orders together by client, service level and order type.
  • Allocates all LTL/FTL (International and Domestic) shipments for processing.
  • Controls the priority and pick levels of each order and maintain priority of emergency orders.
  • Ensures communication between pickers and replenishers for stock replenishment needs and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Assists the staging and shipping of products from the dock which includes QC loads, loading, manifesting and finally closing of the trailers to be released
  • Scheduling LTL, verifying inbound and outbound appointments. Preparing billings from tariff, complete manual BOL according to type and weight of freight or merchandise
  • Ensuring that each load gets shipped correctly and timely to avoid missing deliveries or lost goods
  • Ensure that inbound shipments are received in a timely manner and are directed accordingly
  • Communication with yard jockey and security to coordinate trailer placement
  • Communication with carriers and brokers to keep appointments aligned
  • Creation of transportation equipment in WMS
  • Investigates shipper or consignee complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipment to determine responsibility
  • Directs and coordinates activities concerned with the documentation and routing of outgoing and incoming freight
  • Reviews documents to ensure that assigned classifications and tariffs are in accordance with mode of transportation and destination of shipment
  • Ensure special shipping requirements are adhered to prior to shipment of goods
  • Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team

Medical Assistants Wanted

Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30 miles one way from their home for an assignment. We are looking for medical assistants to provide "cheerful mobility" staffing for prisma health locations in greenville, spartanburg and oconee counties. The ambulatory internal resource pool is a team that floats to the various physician practice sites. We offer flexible scheduling, with a float pay differential on top of the hourly rate of pay. We are looking for candidates with the ability to work prn assignments that have potential for up to 40 hours a week. Our current need is for team members who can work a minimum of any three (8) hour shifts per week, monday through friday. This position allows for networking with practice managers, providers, and practice based team members across prisma health and also allows for expanding skill sets within a variety of specialty practices. Essential Functions

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with prisma health's purpose: inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
  • Perform clinical, technical, administrative, and clerical duties as directed by the physician and within the scope of training and certification, including point of care testing. Report critical lab values to the physician.
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Obtain and record patients' chief complaints, current medications, vital signs, pain screening and allergies.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms. Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, sterilizing instruments as needed.
  • Assist physician with examinations, tests, procedures, and in-office surgery. Apply splints, casts, and dressings, and remove sutures. Report and assist during emergencies.
  • Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the physician, including p.o., vaginal and rectal suppositories, intradermal injection and intramuscular injection.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in ongoing process improvement activities.
  • Teach patient and provide printed information, on physician request, about diagnosis, self-care within the scope of assigned duties, health promotion, disease prevention, and community healthcare resources. Patient education must be documented in the medical record.
  • Document data and care in the patient medical record/maintain as confidential.
  • Receive and return clinically related telephone calls after communicating with physician regarding medical concerns of the patient. Transmit physician medication orders to pharmacy, as governed by state law.
  • Complete medical insurance and other related forms for physician review. Communicate as needed with the patient, referral source, and payor between visits. Complete patient registration, scheduling, and billing tasks, and perform general office/clerical duties as assigned. Schedule tests and treatments, as ordered by the physician.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: In south carolina, completion of medical assistant training program from one of the following:
    • Graduate of a medical assisting education program accredited by the caahep, abhes, or any accrediting agency recognized by the united states department of education.
    • Completion of a career and technical education health sciences program approved by the south carolina department of education.
    • Military training: completion of a medical assisting program provided by a branch of the united states military.

Key Responsibilities

As The ASE Automotive Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner. Manage and train service peers and ensure quality service. You will work alongside the store manager in ensuring shop performance and manage your work schedule.

Essential duties and responsibilities include providing fast and friendly customer service, promoting sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customers, maintaining timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers, keeping manager informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attention, safely operating customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions, draining oil and changing oil filter; lubricating vehicles; installing, rotating and balancing tires and properly torquing wheels; checking and filling various fluids; checking and replacing various filters and lights, maintaining a clean environment, tools and equipment, using company guidelines, knowing and adhering to company policies and procedures, utilizing and performing all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectations, performing alignments, inspections, and repair various automotive components and systems, safely operating vehicle lifts and other equipment needed to complete servicing, troubleshooting and performing non routine repairs and aiding others if needed, taking lead in the shop and ensuring customers vehicles are repaired and serviced to store standards.

Qualifications include ASE certification, diesel experience is a plus, must have own tools, availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed, reliable transportation to work, ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials, ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions, complies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations, ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift, ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds, ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check, willingness to work with owner and store manager to complete services with a focus on quality and in a timely manner, a proven record of service and leadership.
